Knives have shaped human history and remain one of our most essential tools. From sharpened stone half a million years ago to the hundreds of modern variations we use today, knives are part of our everyday lives.
This collection is organised into eight categories; meat, vegetable, Asian, fish, bread, specialty, knife sets, and accessories. Each section highlighting common uses and unique qualities of each and every knife.

Knives Out compares Western and Japanese knife craftsmanship, leaving you to decide which reigns supreme.

Inspired by cookbook design, the layouts use a restrained, kitchen-inspired palette and typography to reflect each knife’s purpose — from chopping to slicing and dicing.

Side stories explore the darker role of knives in thriller and horror films, paired with practical guidance on their everyday use.
